ABOUT ME

I just moved to Huntsville, Alabama after living in Seattle my whole life. I work for Boeing as a Materials and Process Engineer supporting a NASA rocket.

Before moving to Huntsville, I was on a year long sabbatical after getting laid off from my old job. During the pandemic, I went traveling in Croatia, Turkey, Egypt, and Mexico for 6 months and had such an incredible time.

I have hosted quite a bit, but have surfed in the UK, Kenya, Egypt, and Mexico

Hiking, outdoors, camping, mountaineering, traveling, adventure, engineering, piano, languages and cultures, cooking, meeting new people

Climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro

Took a local passenger boat 1,000 miles down the Amazon River in Brazil and slept on a hammock on the boat

Hitchhiked around New Zealand

Couchsurfed with a local police officer in the Scottish Highlands

Spent two months in Ecuador. Hiked in the Andes and traveled through the Amazon rainforest

Spent two months in Turkey during the Covid Pandemic. Experienced Cappadocia with very few tourists

Snorkeled and scuba dived in the Red Sea

Got up close to an erupting volcano in Iceland

Did engineering audits at a manufacturing company in China outside of Shanghai

Fly fished in Alaska

River rafted down the Grand Canyon

Sampling street food in Mexico City

Backpacking to some of the most beautiful alpine lakes in the Pacific Northwest

Caving/spelunking in Alabama and Tennessee
