Hi there, my name is Marcel (19 yo) and I´m a German backpacker in Australia. After taking the A-Levels in Germany I decided to visit other parts of the world. Living in only one country seemed to be way too boring. :) So, I´m currently traveling Australia and want to make my own experiences, grow with the challenge, meet new people and learn English until I´m fluent with it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is one of the best ways to get to know some new and friendly people. Also I do love the concept of taking and giving, I´m convinced I will host as well when I´m back in Germany.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Coming from a concert in Hanover, Germany, I drove home with 6 people in a 5 seat car. A friend of mine who joined us had to take the ride in the trunk of my car. Nothing special so far.
