Hey outthere!

My name is Marcel and I am 26 years old. I live together with my familly in the beautiful heart of Europe, also called the Tyrol! More than a year ago i finished my studies and started working at a well known company as an area manager. Out of the sudden I found myself in an environment hard work and career where the only things that mattered. I quickly realized that this was not the way I wanted to spend my life. So i quit my job and made the plan to travel the world... and here I am :) I am travelling with my good old friend Hanspeter Rokita and we would love to share your couch!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I heard a lot about couchsurfing from other surfers which described it as a great experience to get in touch with locals and to meet very different but interesting people. I would say that I am looking for a lot of different people in many countries to gather some insights in foreign cultures. The best way would of course be to make some trips together with the hosts!

I like movies with background that deal with a good way of life, how people live together and how people manage different situations.
In case of music it always depends on my mood, I am listening to nearly every kind of musik as long as my mood is the right one.
I also do read a lot, currently I am very much into books about mindfulness.

I promise to respect the home of each of my hosts. I will tread you and your home the way i would also like to be treated. We can talk a lot about spirituality, politics and the way people in different countries are trying to make their lives. I really like to cook (I do not eat meat but I also do not try to convince others to follow my way) and would like to prepare some food on my own or together.
