Currently, I’m traveling in Japan from Hokkaido - Sendai - Fukushima - Tokyo(now), and I’m curious to know what the next city in Japan is.

I’ve traveled in Japan several times, but I’m not interested in the usual tourist spots. I’m looking for some local gems that are off the beaten path. (It’s challenging for non-Japanese speakers, so please guide me.)

About myself, I was a Product Manager in a tech company in Taiwan before quitting in June. I spent some time traveling in Southeast Asia, visiting Bali in Indonesia, Da Nang in Vietnam, and Chiang Mai in Thailand. I’m currently in Japan.

This experience has been incredibly transformative. I’ve become more mindful of my waking hours, developed healthier routines, and pushed myself to try new things, like Muay Thai, surfing, and scuba diving. I even completed my first trekking trip to Mt. Rinjani in Lombok, which was something I never imagined doing, especially since I wasn’t very active before.

Traveling isn’t just about visiting many places; it’s about gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you. It taught me how to breathe again, to love, and to approach life with a little more kindness.
