About Me

It is a huge privilege to be able to explore the remote and the vivid places of our marvelous planet.

I'm that type of guy who rescues earthworms from the road.
All in all a positive attitude, love for challenges. I'm an endless source of useless information.
I love to laugh and I'm passionate about doing sports and enjoying good food.
After school I was working for two years with horses and mules. Giving me enough savings for low budget travels.
My favourite mediums of transport are bicycle, hitchhiking, ferry and railroad.
Basically all my stuff is second hand. I try to save resources and waste. At home I'm vegetarian. On the road I want to try all the local dishes.

2022 I started a one year long back/bikepacking journey through mainly Turkiye, Iran, Pakistan and India made possible by CS and hospitality mainly.

2024 second sabbatical. I took the Transiberian Railroad and backpacked through Mongolia to Beijing with my buddy. Then I solocycled through South Korea and Japan. I crossed China again and again, hoped on Taiwan, hitchhiked through SEA and went through Central Asia mostly by train. After a month in Afghanistan I finally made it home coming from the Caspian Sea by bus.

Now I'm back home and looking forward to hosting or hanging out! Can't upload more recent pictures as my CS is bugging..but I swear to god I have more than one shirt xD

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm extroverted. love meeting interesting peoples learn about other cultures, make new friends, see the locals perspective in their country and learn new things. And honestly to safe money xD

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Horse riding, sailing, experiencing love, helping a friend I have never met before to realise his biggest dream, trekking in the Black Forest with my best buddies, bikepacking, baking brownies and getting stoned in Iran (and getting arrested but not because of that), trekking in the Karakorum, running a half-Marathon after partying the whole night before, crossing a half frozen river, teaching English to kids, making friends along the way :)
