Personally I chose to start couch surfing because its one of the best ways to meet good people, and with good people i mean Humanitarians, because lets be honest the accommodation prices are a crime now a days, and through this awesome concept you dont just get somewhere to rest, but you get to meet interesting, fun people that you can learn a lot from and vice versa...

latest thing i have done was walking the caminho de Santiago, starting from Porto.... well it was 12 days of pure fun, and 260 km of meeting awesome, and interesting people...
