ABOUT ME

Currently, I live in Singapore, where I work as a researcher. That's the official line. In reality, I'm always on the go, meeting wonderful people, having lots of fun, creating memories and living the life to tell. Traveling is my middle name :P Welcome, you've just joined the fun side of life :)

There's so much to learn in life and the key is to step outside of one's comfort zone and be open-minded. Sometimes, we all need to take that leap of faith.

By all means, challenge me with your different viewpoints, that's the only way I'll ever expand my horizons. Great minds don't think alike, they challenge each other.

I basically want to do my share too. I have benefitted immensely from this community and I want to give back to keep its unique spirit alive. I believe in giving back without expectations. Kindness begets kindness.

I've shown some couchsurfers around and I've been hosted. I really enjoy hosting too, to have the chance to show you around Singapore, as I think I know quite a number of hidden gems here ;)

I love the nature and you'd be surprised how much nature Singapore has. Let me know if you want to explore this side of Singapore. We can go hiking!

Music and dancing are my joys, mostly there's music playing somewhere in my house. Makes life more fun.

I enjoy history, especially of early humankind, history of the middle ages and ancient history. Enjoy Philosophy too, both as a discipline and casually in discussions thinking about some of life's mysteries.

Baking cakes and cookies is something I also enjoy. I then try to offset the damage by sports and running to burn the calories lol.

- Left home (didn't run away) at the age of 15 to study my high school in Thailand.
- Hitch-hiked to Morocco from the north of England.
- Did the Trans-Siberian Rail, so ask me anything if you're also planning.
- I'm proud to be a senior volunteer to help injured migrant workers from India and Bangladesh here in Singapore
