About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"None but ourselves can free our minds..."
ABOUT ME
I'm 22 years old, currently living in Germany to study Political Science in Berlin.
I really love travelling so whenever I get the chance, I try to find somewhere new to get to know! I have travelled a bit around my country, South America and Europe, trying to meet more from the world and from myself.
I was born in a little town in the country side of Brazil but 9 years ago I took the huge São Paulo as my home and have been living in this great chaotic city since then!
When I was 17 years old I went to Germany for an exchange year that changed my life! I lived in Marburg, a great little town in the middle of good old Deutschland!!!
After returning home to São Paulo I started studiyng Social Sciences and after 4 years I felt the need to see the world again! That's why I'm returning to Germany to study for one semester (now together with my boyfriend Julio). So that's where we are now, hoping to meet some great people and places!
PHILOSOPHY
Free your mind...live the world!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Since I'm new at CouchSurfing, I've never "surfed" before. When I was 16 I had some exchange students living in my house, so we're all used to hosting people at home. After I lived in Germany for a year I hosted a lot of friends and friends from friends who came to Brazil for a visit, and this has been a great experience.
Interests
I really love to listen to people's experiences and stories and learn from that. I also like to exchange my life experience and interests!
Basically, I will love to talk to you about anything!
I really like music, so I'm always opened to talk about that and get some new music tips.
Movies and tv series are definitely a good subject too!
And, of course, Social Sciences in general.
Me and Julio also LOVE to ride around São Paulo with our bikes! This will be a great way to travel around new places that we visit :)

Music, Movies, and Books
It's so hard to name my favorite ones! But I'll try...
I'm always wanting to read more books, apart from the many ones I have to read for university (but there's never time for that). So I use travel time to read.
On my last trip I started to read "On the road", a classic by Jack Kerouack and also "1984", by George Orwell, both unfinished :/
I love the movie trilogy by Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu (Amores perros, 21 gramos, Babel) and Brazilian directors like Fernando Meirelles (City of God) and Walter Salles (Central do Brasil).
I enjoy all kinds of different music, but I think I know the brazilian music better (especially because I enjoy playing samba with friends!).
