I love the place I live. I am very happy when I find somebody who is ready to explore the neighbourhood with me. I live here since I was born, but it still gives me so much joy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Right now I just have to let two rooms for the academic year. I decided it may be the best way to find foreigners, as I would like to benefit from international atmosphere at home. I also believe people who travel, are more open-minded and have a lot to share. One of the rooms is in the flat where I live, so it is important for me. i am looking for a female flatmate. The other (double) room is very close, so if we have some common interests, it is good too.
I have been letting the rooms for many years and three of my flatmates became my true friends :) All the others were pleasant, good-hearted, kind people too, and I'm grateful I found them. So I believe I'm lucky with people and I want to continue along this line.

Interests

Usually I read.
But I'm also interested in gathering edible wild plants and making food or preserves from them.
I also like walking. I believe it cures almost all ailments.

Would like to learn Spanish, German and Lithuanian. But the speakers of other languages are welcome too. And Polish people too, of course :)
Can teach knitting.
