Hi, I’m Marcella! 👋

I’m from Indonesia and am currently a communication student with a strong passion for connecting with people. I also run a small Virtual Assistant (VA) agency, helping busy professionals and entrepreneurs in industries like health and wellness, education, coaching, export-import, and marketing. The reason I created this community-based VA Agency was to empower Indonesian stay-at-home moms, fresh graduates, and career switchers and, hopefully, will help more people from various backgrounds to have a better career/life by being a VA.

I’m deeply passionate about business, psychology, theology/religion, progressive teaching, health and wellness, and any topic that invites deep, meaningful conversations. If you share these interests, I’m sure we’ll get along well. But don’t worry—I’m also someone who laughs a lot, so if you have some good jokes, I’d love to hear them!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason I’m on Couchsurfing is that I recently secured a client who’s planning a business trip to China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore, and Malaysia, places I’ve always dreamed of visiting. This trip gives me the perfect chance to combine business with cultural exploration as the client also really wanted to do that! We’ve been to Vietnam, Singapore, and Malaysia before and had amazing experiences, but we can’t wait to dive deeper into the local culture and traditions in all of these countries, so we can have different experiences this year!! :)

I’ve also had the privilege of staying with four amazing hosts in Europe during my travels, and we’ve built great friendships. These experiences made me realize how much I enjoy connecting with locals, and I’d love to do it again through Couchsurfing.

Slept in the middle of the night in the German train station for 4 hours more than twice to catch the next train.
