I'm Marcella, 22 years old and I've been traveling on and off for the last four years. I started my studies because I love traveling and seeing different countries and cultures. Because of my studies I've been to a lot of places and now that I've graduated I don't plan on stopping! I love it too much. Besides traveling I also love animals!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I've been traveling I've stayed with a lot of couch surfers, it's such a good way of traveling. You meet local people and learn more about the place you're staying. I hope I can do the same for people that come to the Netherlands.

Off course my main interest is traveling, I'm very interested in getting to know new cultures and people.
Also I love just hanging out with friends, listening to good music, watching movies and sharing stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a little bit of everything when it comes to music, I don't have one particular genre I like best.

Movies I loved were the Shawshenk Redemption, the Green Mile, the Life of David Gale, Bad Boys (or any other movie with Will Smith) and Brothers. Mostly comedies, action or drama.

When it comes to books the Lovely Bones and The Anniversary Man were my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For school I went to Africa to help the locals of Rwanda get a better idea of how they could improve Tourism in their capital city, Kigali.
