Hey, I’m Marcella

I’m from Brazil and currently living in Berlin. 11 years ago I lived in Italy, so I speak Italian, and these days I’m doing my best to learn German.

I’ve visited 29 countries so far — in most of them I stayed with couchsurfers. It’s honestly my favorite way of traveling: meeting people, sharing stories, and turning strangers into friends.

I’m into sports like climbing and hiking, I love cooking, talking about music, discovering new sounds, and drawing. Recently I’ve also been enjoying the practice of artistic writing. By profession I’m an architect, but creativity is what really moves me.

Most of the time I travel solo or with close friends, often by bike. Couchsurfing has already made many of my bike trips possible — the last one was Hamburg to Copenhagen!

I also love Couchsurfing because it connects perfectly with my passion for traveling by bike. Exploring the world on two wheels lets me truly dive into new places, meet people along the way, and enjoy the journey as much as the destination.
