About Me

hahah, it is difficult to describe yourself isn't it? Well, I think I should start by my hobbies, I really love studying Mandarim and Japanese, and to hang out.
It just feels great to write in a paper using a different alphabet, so I daily write down the things that happen around me and my feeling about it.
My other one is just to go out with friends and chat, I really like to hear things someone says about him or herself, like a story for example and to share mine also. The best part is that the story of a person is constantly being written so there's always something new to hear and to say. I have realized this is one of the best ways to understand a country's culture and to be immerse on it: sharing stories.
That's why travelling means a lot to me, besides improving your story and of everyone you meet it's also a way to help people to better understand each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am humanist, i believe people are more than what we usually conceive at first. Following this way of thinking, I wanna know new people, listen new stories and share mine; but not like working or going to a hotel. When you work you are having some interaction in fact, but not as things should be, also, when you stay in a hotel, you are more likely to find only foreigners and meet more the culture of theirs instead of the country you are in. I don't wanna be merely a tourist, I wanna be a traveler, to know the real culture of the country I am in.

Music, Movies, and Books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my exchange in 2015, I did a project called CPMP (Chih Ping Movie Project) to help taiwanese people to speak better english using the techinique I used to learn english before. Basically I organized my class to do a movie, with any theme, but entirely made by them since the script until the action. This project took one semester to be done and I can be nothing more than thankful for the results after that, people were more likely to use english to talk and not afraid of doing it.
