My name is Marcelo Gervásio Silva, Brazilian from Rio de Janeiro, Copacabana, I'm 55 years old, the son of a film director and a great theater dancer, I'm the first person in the world to complete a trip across/around the world/globe using/with a skateboard, who has no engine, batteries or support car from a support team, I did it all by myself not for money or luxury, but on promise to my deceased father in 2004, before he passed away I promised at the hospital that I would honor the promise and went which concludes across 64 countries, 67,000 kilometers, 5 continents in 15 years of travel, I have spent in dangerous Muslim countries like Somalia and Afghanistan, an experience that I can share with anyone who can help me. I have in Brazil a simple TV show titled "" is necessary to put this on YouTube in Portuguese as above in parentheses "A volta ao mundo de skate" . My program in Brazil reaches 50 million people on television, Brazil population 220 million people, this numbers not on the internet, but on television because in Brazil people love skateboarding, soccer and surfing. I'm not registered on Couchsurfing (I even wanted you to teach me that) "laughs" but I put in a hundred photos which shows the seriousness of my work, countries traveled and contact with several friends in this amazing world to be explored. I think the best thing about people staying with me is that they travel to the places I've been and mentioning that they stayed, or helped me, would be very well received.
