My name is Marcelo Matsubara, I'm a 28 years old Brazilian-Japanese who dreams to travel to as many different countries as possible.

I love taking pictures of my travels (you can check them out in my Instagram profile: @marcelotmatsu) and meet new people!
Apart from traveling, I love dancing, hiking, listening to music and reading during free time.

I’m a consultant in EY-Parthenon and am currently fulfilling one of my biggest dreams: backpacking through Europe, East Europe all the way to Southeast Asia!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hope to meet a bunch of different cultures and people on the way and hear their life stories.
I see Couchsurfing a great place to do that: meet with locals and get tips regarding where to go in the city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Reaching Machu Picchu by foot! It was a 5-day hiking trip from Cusco until the top of the Machu Picchu mountain, one of the most beautiful hiking trips I've ever done.

I have a lot stories from my Brazilian trips, and expect to create a lot more during this backpacking through Europe and Southeast Asia!
I love reading books and talk about everything, from physics and science to economics and philosophy!
I can cook some Brazilian meals as well, if you never tried, you should!
