I am a gardener and plant enthusiast. I am starting my Master of Science at Georgetown in Climate, Environment, and Health. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, and I am always open to learning other languages. I am from Arkansas, and went to college at Hendrix College. I love to cook, travel, backpack, hike, spend time with my cats, journal, and read.
I am open-minded, easy going, and love to get to know a place through locals. I’ve been to 13 different countries, most of which to study!

I’m on Couchsurfing to minimize costs and maximize connection! I usually spend time in hostels, but homestays have always been the highlights of all of my travels. While this is my first time using Couchsurfing, I’ve done over a dozen homestays from New Zealand to Peru to the UK!

The Well-Gardened Mind is one of my favorite books! I got to meet the author while I was in London studying horticultural therapy.
I love all Studio Ghibli movies (Kiki’s Delivery Service is a favorite.)
For music, I love alternative, reggaeton, folk, and everything in between!
