I've lived in Madrid for 8 years now, I come from Poland and before coming to Spain I studied in Germany. I work at an insurance company and have just started and this year I started studying French. My idea is to have prolonged "stayovers" in France every time I go to/from Spain to/from Germany. So the chances are, the desinations sought here will be France.

I would like to have some reason other than a financial one, but unfortunately, this is the predominat cause. I highly value privacy and personal space of people, so I took some time to become a memeber on this page (my friends have been in "business" for a long time). Yet I believe all experiences are to learn something new. So I'm pretty exited about starting this adventure.

With literature it's a bit dictated by the languages. As I mainly read English and German it's 20th/21st century literature of these two language areas. Too many to list here.

I travelled from Scottland to Poland hitchhiking when I was 18 with some 15 ponds in my pocket (and yeah, UK being an island makes it all the more... amazing).
