ABOUT ME

I want to live. Sometimes this means buying tickets to Iran at the drop of a hat, sometimes - dancing Latin dances, sometimes - taking a winter mountaineering course.

I have a lot of interests; can get enthusiastic about something very easily. In my travels I try to avoid crowded "touristy" places and go off a beaten track; get lost in the back country among locals. This is where I meet awesome, big-hearted people, to whom I try to pay back at least a fraction of kindness, smile, and hospitality that I receive.

I was born in Poland and lived in Poland, UK, USA, France

Love interactions with other people: listen to their stories and share mine. Enjoy and learn something from every moment of my life :)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent nearly a month in Spain and for most of the time I was couchsurfing. I met some great people and, again, thanks a lot to all of them for everything they did for me.
Have been hosted in North Carolina, Florida, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Guatemala - met nicest people ever :).

Recently have hosted a few surfers and it seems they had a good time at my place. I myself surely had :).

Interessen

I have been a Scout so camping and hiking is my middle name :-). Now, I am all into rock climbing and mountaineering. I tried a bit of fencing . I am a keen Latin dancer. Even though I haven't danced for some time now, there is nothing better than Cuban salsa, Dominican bachata or French folk dances! I sailed across North Atlantic from Iceland to Ireland. I also enjoy relaxing acoustic music. I love learning languages. I speak Polish, English and can do intermediate Spanish. I always try to pick up at least some of the language for the country I travel to.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

My first ever Couchsurfing trip to Spain started the range of all amazing travels.

Winter camping in the woods in the mountains. Tough challenge :D

I know camping techniques, can go climbing indoors with you. I am pretty good in chess, too :). Of course, if you only wish, I am more than happy to teach you Polish :P. I am happy to share all the stories from my travels (if you only want to listen :D ) and love listening others telling their adventures

I love learning everything! Handcraft, foreign languages, unusual skills, etc :D
