About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Reinventing myself in Sherbrooke QC as I have recently enrolled in Bishop's University, where I aspire to achieve a B.Ed in Creative Arts.

ABOUT ME

Currently I am packing up my apartment in a northern region of Quebec where I was an art instructor for the Cree School Board on the James Bay for the past 2 yrs, with goals of becoming a certified art teacher. Other than that , I am a very generous and friendly person who seeks the best of what life has to offer, like good croissants, dark chocolate and a tasty coffee!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is about growing from our experiences. To learn as we go, so that we may become better people along the way. As a part of our personal evolution, I feel it is necessary to be conscious of others and of our environment which includes giving back to others so that we can all share in this short trip.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATED IN COUCHSURFING

In the past my plan was to swim in all 5 of our Great Lakes and perhaps make some friends along the way. Is that too Canadian? Tanks to CS this became a reality as I surfed and met some cool people. Now that I am back home, I hope to reciprocate so that my CS experiences will continue.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been personal tour guide for Montreal's culinary delights on several occasions and have surfed in several cities around the Great Lakes.

Interests

Travelling, photography and film have broadened my sensibilities and awareness of our global community. Through the arts and social interactions I hope to continue developing and sharing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to many genres of music, but gravitate towards classical & post-punk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fallen in love ranks pretty high even when compared to the wonders I've seen. Although seeing an orthodox church that survived 500 years of Turkish occupation and iconoclasm was something I'll never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ask me anything, maybe I can help you out.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Insight for northern job experiences and opportunities. Also, laughs.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Jordan, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Syrian Arab Republic, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
