Hi, I’m Marco, a 33-year-old from southern Italy, close to the ancient city of Pompeii and the stunning Amalfi Coast.

I’ve spent most of my life in Italy, but for the past few years, I’ve been working remotely as a Product Manager for a software company. My job offers great flexibility—I only need my computer and a reliable internet connection. This freedom has allowed me to explore new places while working, which is exactly what I’m planning to do.

I’m a quiet, nature-loving person. Nature brings me peace, whether it’s a sunset, a garden on a sunny afternoon, the excitement of a thunderstorm, or a quiet beach far from city noise. I love walking and prefer exploring new places by bike when possible. I’m not into wild parties or clubs; I enjoy calmer, more relaxed environments.

Interests

I like simple things, like to stay in the nature. I like music and art, cinema and technology. I like to read classical romances. I like to observe. I like to help. I like to listen more than to talk. I like also when silence speaks.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: too much to mention. I prefer drama and then comedy, I don't like too much horror and fantasy genres. I love Ingmar Bergamn and Terrence Malick movies.

Music: I can say that the only genres I don't listen to are hard rock or metal. I like classical rock, electronic music (better if it's ambient/electronic), jazz music (I love Nat King Cole), ethnic music, lately I'm discovering bossa nova (it's so nice) and sometimes I listen to classical music, too. Of course it depends on the mood.

Books: I like to read romances and art books. At the top of my preferences are those books that I never end to explore: "L'Étranger" of Camus, Pirandello's works. A particular mention to Verga, an italian writer.
