Montreal is home because that's where my family is and where I work and go to school, but I have so many Brazilian friends that I dream of moving to Brazil and I already learnt the language. I walk by faith, but without forgetting to work hard, live the present, and be humble. I'm a student at Université de Montréal and work at St Joseph's Oratory ( Canada's largest church) and as city tourist guide. It's fun and enriching. My passports say that I'm Canadian and Central American ( Honduras), but I like to think that I'm " un enfant de la terre" (child of the earth or simply a citizen of this world). I also volunteer at a nursing home.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Because I'm on low on money, but I recently decided that ain't stopping me from seeing what's out there even if I have to sleep outside (which has happened already) and because of the gratifying experience of having conversations with the people that live wherever I'm visiting and can share with me what's like to live there.

I'm currently reading a book called "the shack". But my favourite is the Alchemist from Paulo Coelho, the only one I've read more than once and each time in a different language: English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Hmmm.. I think that taking the train across Canada even though I don't know where I'll stay or what to do is an amazing thing itself. But I did become a boxer over the past year and have lost over 70 lbs. Not bad, eh?
