Hi I'm Marco from Bavaria in Germany. In August 2016 I started my High School year abroad at Brighton High in Rochester, NY. For me though something a lot bigger started: It sparked my love of traveling, exploring new cultures, and understanding new perspectives.
A big topic of mine has always been adaptation and mitigation of climate change, since it’s the most important quest of our time.

I think by getting to know each other, no matter where we’re from, we realize that there’s actually more that we have in common than what separates us. These friendships through which we become more open-minded, tolerant and curious to travel for me make the world a better place.
