About Me
Hi there! I’m new to Couchsurfing—a curious soul with an adventurous spirit. Intellectually, physically, and spiritually moreish, I’m a creative nomad navigating life with depth and wonder.
I thrive on meaningful, authentic connections, whether through deep conversations, unplugged moments of simplicity, or shared adventures.
Passionate about inner work and self-discovery, I love diving into psychology, therapy, and the endless pursuit of growth. I fully embrace reality in all its vibrant, messy, and beautiful forms.
Here’s a fun fact: I was made in South Africa (1981–1999) and assembled in the UK (1999–2019). The UK became my cozy base for traveling the world with ease. But in 2019, I decided to kick comfort to the curb and dive headfirst into new adventures Where life exploded with beauty and vibrancy!
Now, my travels have brought me back home, where I spend most of my time reconnecting, exploring, and appreciating the magic of where it all began. —including this exciting world of Couchsurfing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I choose to Couchsurf because hotels don’t come with friendly locals, spontaneous adventures, or secret tips on the best hidden spots in town. Plus, who wants boring room service when you can share stories, laughs, and maybe even a homemade meal with awesome people? For me, travel isn’t about places, it’s about connections, and Couchsurfing is the perfect way to make them!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2016 I grabbed a moped and zoomed around the stunning island of Mindoro in the Philippines, diving at every spot I could find.
I took "wild camping" to the next level, trekking down the UK coastline with nothing but a tent and my creative survival skills. Then I decided to spice things up by locating my wild camping to Hungry cycling around Lake Balaton - Oh, and all this during COVID,! 🚴♂️🌊🐟
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m basically a creative upcycling wizard and a master problem solver—feel free to put me to the test! I travel with a toolkit that’s ready for any challenge, from fixing stuff to crafting quirky masterpieces. Don’t believe me? Check out my photo library for proof of my wild and wonderful creations.
