My name is Marco and I live in northern Italy in a town near the Lake Como and the Swiss border. I am 33 years old and I've worked for six years for a geologist in Milan. I love going to the mountains, skiing, climbing, running, and general outdoor activities.
I became aware of couchsurfing from some friends and I'd try to make a different kind of holiday. I am also a member of wwoof uk whereby in June I spent two beautiful weeks volunteering with a family of York (UK).
My English is not perfect but I can communicate pretty well. In August, I would go to Ireland to improve my English. For me, couchsurfing is a great way to meet new friends, improve the language, visiting a country more closely, save money. Of course I am willing to share the cost of any expenses. Thanks
