I'm Marco, a student from Italy. I grew up in Vicenza, a little city not too far away from Venice, which I managed to know quite well over the years. I studied ancient greek, latin, history and philosophy in high school; now I study medicine and surgery at the University of Padova. I've always been passionate about music expecially metal, folk and Irish music, but I love listening to almost every kind of music. I sing, play guitar and bass guitar. I love to read, to write and to drink Guinness.
I try to travel every year to a different place and I always try to meet new people there, because I believe that if you really want to connect with a city or a country you are visiting you need to get in touch with the people that live there, and possibly speak their language.

To travel meeting new people. I strongly believe that if you really want to connect with a city or a country you are visiting you need to meet the people that live there, and that's way easier if you travel couchsurfing. It would be a shame to lose such an opportunity travelling the ordinary way!
