I am a citizen of the planet, I want to travel around the world... but not only travel as a "tourist" I want to LIVE the countries I visit
At first glance I might seem cold, quite and shy. This is my appearance before I start getting to know someone. Afterwards, I'm still a quite person but very warm and open to anything... and also:
very honest, friendly
someone you can trust
recently someone defined me as a "free spirit", I never thought of me that way, but I definitely agree
The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, he said:
Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money.
Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health.
And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present;
the result being that he does not live in the present or the future;
he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."
My philosophy of life is based on the Dalai Lama's words. I'm trying in my life to do all the opposite of what he said. I don't care much about money (I try to earn money just enough to leave my life and do the things I like). I try to live the present in a healthy way and enjoy it the most, not worrying much about the future. For me life is a journey where I want to be a better person at the end of this journey than at the begging.
I live for things that give me emotions:
-Triathlon: I am a Triathlete, I love this sport... I guess u have to have that personality that wants to know what your limits are, searching for the ultimate challenge; this is what I train for, this is what I live for...
-Travelling: far, very faraway... travelling opens up my mind, I love meeting new cultures and new things
-Music: I love music, especially some songs that give me strong emotions til make me cry.
-Movies: I love movies... some movies make me cry...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Couchsurfing is an experience I would recommend to anyone! I was a little bit unsure at first but then I hosted someone and it was amazing and then I couchsurfed and it has been even more amazing. I'm relatively new to this experience, but couchsurfing is sharing an experience with someone, even if u don't know that "someone"
Couchsurfing is sharing, but not only sharing a couch, it's sharing a story over a dinner, it's sharing a bit of my life with another human being…
I hosted couchsurfers from:
swim, bike and run...
I love being outdoors,
I love the sun and the beach,
I love the summer and the hot but hate winter and cold...
Watching sunset from one of the beaches near my place...
Swimming in my sea at sunset or sunrise
