About Me

CURRENT MISSION

discovering the last ingredient of the perfect pasta sauce

ABOUT ME
I am a trained physicist, now a PostDoc working on a Research and Development project for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) -a Medical ONG that helps populations in need all over the world-
https://fondation.msf.fr/en/projects/astapp-free-diagnostic-tool-antibiotic-resistance-testing

The rest of the day I am a passionate trombone player, I play with different brass bands: I like jazz, balkan traditional music, funk and a in general every good piece of music that is fun to play.

Languages, drawing (mainly pencil and waterclor), cooking and gardening are other passions of mine... when I have time for them

ATTITUDE

What can I say... I am sincere, don't like lying in any circumstances. I love simple things and pleasures.
If I could I would be always travelling!

PHILOSOPHY

Think 3 minutes a week about future, that's enough, but do it, the rest of the time enjoy.
Explore the surroundings, be a good observer and understand how to get to your dreams, if you have a dream, otherwise it is still fine, enjoy life!

Normally people are not evil. Either they don't know you enough or are worried about your reactions. Communication misunderstanding happen more often than we think.
Learn the best things the people around you can do. Never try to learn Japanese form someone who never went to Japan! Anyone has something to teach, someone don't want to learn at all.
Never be afraid of asking questions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't offer my couch unfortunately (my flat is way too small), but I would gladly share my experience and friendship to whoever wants to have fun and spend some time together. I find this idea of CS amazing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Amazing! Two days before my first "being hosted" C.S. experience, I receaved a request from two cool guys from Japan... well, GREAT! that's how it started... And it's still going on!

Interests

I have an endlessness curiosity of knowing how things work, but first of all I'm always astonished about mankind! Knowing people and exchanging opinions, let's say refresh my point of view, that is what I really like! Therefore I like languages.

Than, whatelse...as a human being I love music. I studied Piano but now I play trombone in different ensembles and different styles (bigband, streetbands, small groups). I am trying to learn to play trumpet :)

I like biking and fly-fishing (even though it has been a wile since I went fishing last time), and all kinds of sports which bring the person closer to nature. I like also reading, and writing, Any kind of book is interesting, as far as it is good, but I love surrealism.

This list could be endless, but I prefer to stop it with something I really like in my life: I love Cooking, and if I had to choose another one mission, I would say my mission is to learn to cook everything!
