About Me

BEWARE: I lost my Couchsurfing password and by the time I recovered it my response ratio had shrinked to 0% BUT, I assure you I'm still well and alive and will answer your message. It's just that I don't really get along with technology...

Anyway, there I go with my "about me":

Not all those who wander are lost... But I am. Very sociable and extremely active ("as a hamster all day long on its wheel" according to my mother). I love traveling, good conversations, reading and partying. Good meals are my passion. I'm always late because I'm way too Mediterranean. Or maybe because I have no sense of time. But I'm hard working.

PS: I always end up spending the night in the floor of an airport when I travel but got used to it and heard that it's good for your back so it's just fine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Actually, the question should be: Why isn't already everybody into such cool thing? I guess I'm here because I believe in "quid pro quo", I think that a smaller world has to be a good thing. Making it more affordable to everybody is just common sense given that philosophy.
Finally, I strongly defend that a local is always the best guide and I only got to really know my former city, Madrid, when I started to host.

Interests

Wine and beer, Art, the Middle East, the Mediterranean region, the Nordic Countries, Latin America, Portugal, LITERATURE, architecture, music (I played the French horn and the piano), people, plants, media, cinema, moving to Costa Rica, social media and how it influences social interaction...

Well, actually if you are passionate and know how to communicate... you could make me feel interested about anything.

Music, Movies, and Books

Don't you worry, I'm super cultivated I know all about Pitbull, High School Musical and 50 Shades of Grey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the Afghan mountains from a buddist monastery in Uzbekistan. That was quite something.
Eating in Tokyo's Tsukiji market. I still dream of its delicacies on my wildest nights.
I wrote 50 pages on Tinder, capitalism and postmodernism 'cause I'm a bit random at times, you know.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm worthless. As a millennial I'm only capable of eating avocado toast, apparently. OK, just kidding.

I can teach you music from different parts of the world, as well as share some Spanish recipes. I can also help you if I speak the language you want to learn. I would love to learn how to play the guitar. Yoga is also listed. I can share words, tons of them! You can also expect city tours from me if we have the chemistry (and if I have time) .

What I Can Share with Hosts

Loads of conversation.
Food or drink (wine, beer, whatever).
Insight on tortilla and paella.
A lot of "why"-child-like questions about your country, your language, your costumes...
Two beds in Madrid.
