Hi! My name´s Mark, or Sparky. I grew up in Brighton but have spent a long time living outside.
I have a million interests and love meeting people.
I love to help people, make music, see sites, hang out with friends and learn, learn, learn!
I have a wonderful boyfriend/husband to be, George, who is a random Cypriot :p

PHILOSOPHY

Art´s fundamental objective should be about honest communication. Communication is key to a happy and healthy life, and travel is the best way to achieve this. I believe in Karma and giving everything possible to help other people on their journey through life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By giving what I can in each situation, I cook, teach, play music and am happy to help around the house....my mum raised me to be a good Christian and although I don´t believe in the religion as such, many of the tenets hold true' giving, understanding, loving.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Generally excellent....met some wicked people and I've seen some beautiful places.

Everything! For films, give me anything with a good character study! Especially stuff like Almodovar and Almenebar, Little Miss Sunshine, the Piano, All about Eve, the Princess Bride etc.

Music is my great passion: Especially I love Tori Amos, , Led Zep, Kate Bush, Debussy, Rufus (love Rufie!), Red Hot Chilis, Roisin Murphy, Annie Lennox and many others but also Jazz, Pop, Rock, music from around the world. As a musician, I listen to everything and learn.

In terms of literature, the Brontës, Shakespeare, Dickens, Silvia Plath, Germaine Greer, Keats and many many others
