About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Just to listen. To live intuitively. To have compassion. To remind people of poetry. To learn how to dance without limitations.
ABOUT ME
I was born in Germany, raised on a small farm in Minnesota (US), schooled at a Liberal Arts college and on a Greek Island, employed in Seoul and New York City as an Art/English teacher. Now I live in Brooklyn, NY. I have two arts organizations--one about words on walls in NYC and one about the connection between poetry and technology. On top of this, I am also involved in the NYC contemporary dance scene--and dance with my partner, Izzi. To make ends meet, I wait tables and bartend in Manhattan. I try to travel whenever it's possible.
I usually travel with my partner, Izzi. She's also a dancer, not to mention one of the most loving, caring people in the world. We really enjoy getting to know people and focus on making others feel comfortable and acknowledged. We are very adept at adapting to any situation and pride ourselves on being good communicators with each other and other people. We will definitely respect you and your home, as we value people and their homes more than anything else in life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have stayed with many friends and friends of friends around the world over the years. I have also been lucky to stay with so many warm-hearted strangers over the years (who are now great friends). I met some of these people through couch surfing, but most by chance.
