ABOUT ME

I'm an eclectic. Anything goes! There is little in this life that I do not find interesting. I'm sure we will find plenty in common. I'm a very caring and considerate individual, with is heavily contrasted by a boundless sense of humor. Despite that fact, I am considerate of the people around me and would never crack jokes that would offend people. I get a long with most people. I'd say if there was a personality type that was disagreeable with me, it'd be the relentlessly opinionated individuals that argue for the sake of arguing. Intelligent discourse is acceptable, passionate verbosity is not tolerated.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in the Triforce from Zelda. Power, Wisdom, and Courage are key to a wholesome, genuine individual. Power is the ability to create change and to adapt; a direct input of your energy into the world around you. Wisdom is the perception and guidance necessary for the survival of Power, for if it is misguided, it will fizzle and fade. Courage is the ability to act against all odds; knowing fear and moving forward anyway. It is the momentum behind Power and is the sister to Wisdom.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I definitely host more than I surf, which is totally indicative of my personality. I love showing people my home. I'm a lot like my mom in that regard.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Save for a couple of times, I have had amazing experiences and have met some wonderful people. My first time surfing, my host was neglectful, but that is about as bad as it was. My most recent guest as of May 2014 was the worst and I actually had to call the police and have her removed from my home. A truly terrifying experience and I assure you, her behavior was entirely random and unprovoked by me. I am a truly generous person and I believe other surfers can attest to that.

兴趣

I really enjoy hiking, botany, astronomy, disco, dance parties, technology, hacky sack, video games, books, cooking, yard work, coffee on a porch. My interests have no bounds.

Music: Lately, I've really been into electronica. But, like my other interest, my taste in music is varied. As of right now, 8/18/2013 at 6:48pm, my favorite band is Crystal Castles, with Grimes closely trailing behind. I love my old-school soul-tunes, like Marvin Gaye, Berry White, etc...

Books: Life Ascending by Nick Lane, my text books, my field guides, J.R.R. Tolkein, No Easy Day, H.P. Lovecraft, Attack on Titan, and Carl Sagan (my hero) among others.

I'm sure there are lots of things I could teach. There is also much I can learn. Hikes with me can be fun. I can point out different flora and some wild edibles.
