My name is Marcu Bogdan Gabriel. So far i have travelled through over 40 countries. I am 34 year old and i live in Bucharest, Romania. When i`m not travelling i am a computer specialist and i work in telecomunications.

As a child, i loved to read Karl May works, especially about the adventures of Kara Ben Nemsi and his friend Hadschi Halef Omar in Africa and Middle East. I dreamed of traveling myself one day into the unknown, to discover new people and cultures, to learn the real beauty of this world.

I like to ride my motorcycle and my bicycle . My first adventure was in 2007 with my motorcycle in Tunisia, the next year i reached Dakar, Senegal. But my biggest journey so far was with my bicycle from Cairo to Cape Town in almost 7 months.

I like to use websites like coachsurfing or warmshovers becouse i want to learn more about the places i visit and i want to make new friends on the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read Karl May books.
I like to watch almost all the movies that run on cinema, but my all time favourite is this 1997 movie - Gattaca .
I listen to almost anything, but i do prefer rock music, Sabaton, Manowar, Ensiferum, Xandria, Nightwish, Rob Zombie, Skid Row etc. and also music from the 80s.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learned to walk again after my motorcycle accident wich confined me to a bed for 6 months . Standing right now on my own is a pretty amazing thing ;)
