I am very open-minded and enjoy intellectual conversation. I really enjoy coffee and reading. I grew up in the Chicago area. Then lived in Washington, DC for over 10 years where I got my Masters degree in public policy and worked as a legislative analyst. A few short years ago I moved to the Gulf Coast and enjoy this area. Alabama is one of America's best kept secrets.

Favorite music: I listen to everything from Classical music to Top 40 to Country. My favorites include U2, Pearl Jam, Beastie Boys, Rage Against the Machine. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Frank Sinatra. I really like to read. In the first 6 months of 2015 I read over 25 books. Pretty much all non-fiction: biographies and one book that stood out recently is The Innovators.
