I'm a native Austinite, so naturally music is what I do. I'm currently making the transition into being a full-time musician. Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Part of making music full time is being on the road and sharing my songs while connecting with good people. One of my projects(The Old Days) splits time between Los Angeles and Austin. As a result, I'm traveling back and forth playing shows all along the way. Its definitely an adventure. I've had several couchsurfers stay at my place through my roommate and its always been a great experience. We've made long lasting friendships with several of our guests. The idea of traveling across America, playing music, meeting good people and making friends along the way, that sounds like the life to me.

Intereses

I love writing. Whether it be songwriting or journaling, I get an incredible amount of energy through putting pen to paper.
I'm a pretty big sports fan. I follow the Texas Longhorns primarily, but I'm into pro stuff too. Its fun.
Movies and books are great obviously. Food is delicious :)

I studied Economics at UT, which sparked a sort of entrepreneurial spirit in me. Through this I've started a little business called umovemusic. You can check it out at umovemusic.com Its a platform that allows fans in a specific city to pre-purchase tickets to see any artist they want in their hometown. The artist then can respond to the fans' interest and book shows where they have support. Fans aren't charged unless the artist books the show. Part my trip will be viewed through an entrepreneurial lens. Basically, I love hearing and sharing ideas and dreams about what kind of world we want to make.
