Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Eralier this week I lost my wallet and phone. My insurance and bank required a report so I contacted the local police - who kindly hosted me for a night. I'm currently waiting for my replacement ATM cards to be couried to bandung and rapidly running out of money (that was sent via Western Union to keep me solvent until m,y ATM cards arrived) and hoping to find a bed (or couch) to use for the next 3-4 days (now that the weekend has arrived).

I'm a creative director but have a keen interest in skills traing for the tourism industry having:

(1) Rented out my own house and trained staff to deal with international guests
(2) Developed custom-designed TEFL curriculums for hotel guest services staff
(3) Held the post for 7 years of Director: Tourism, Marketing & Communications for PT. Putri Naga Komodo, an enterprise partnership set up between international NGO The Nature Conservancy, the Global Environment Facility and the International Finance Corporation, the private-sector financing arm of the World Bank, to ensure the long-term, effective management of Komodo National Park.
