Hello, I'm Marcus, and I'm currently traveling around New Zealand. I've backpacked around Europe and South East Asia and am really happy to be able to do so in NZ now!

What I'm really looking for out of couch surfing is to meet awesome new friends and get an intimate experience with the local culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel that this is the most authentic way to meet the local people of the countries that I'm visiting.

Interests

During my free time, I like to go out and play sports with my friends or stay home and create mini projects using programming. These things give me a sense of accomplishment.

But the thing that I look forward to most is traveling and meeting new people experiencing new cultures from all around the world.

Game of thrones, breaking bad. As for music, I like a wide variety. Mainly EDM, Rock, country, pop, and generally anything with a nice melody as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved a fellow hiker from falling off Mount Rinjani by grabbing her hand!

I love trying to learn new languages despite not being very good at it 😆
