About Me

Hey!
It’s long ago since I gave Couchsurfing a shot but now that I am able to host people instead of looking out for a couch myself, I figured I could offer mine to potentially meet some travelers!

Stuff about me:
I am 21, male and not smoker.
So much about the “official” part but beyond that I am a student at the TU Darmstadt and I am currently doing my bachelor in Mechatronics, a mix up between machine building, electrical engineering and computer science.
If you are down for coding on a raspberry pi or an aduino you are very welcome!
Now some of you might think “eww what kind of geek is that?!” and I can assure you I have other nontechnical interests too (and love diversity so you can be sure that you are also very welcome):
I am in love with art and about this >< close I would have studied something in this area - but things went different and here I am!
I used to draw a lot but since becoming an engineer is a challenging obstacle I had to take it down for the last few month, together with taking photographs.
Next to art I fell in love with playing Frisbee, riding my bike and discussions with my flatmates, what brings me to the next point you might be interested in too: My living situation!

My home is a 12m² room in a 5-people living community with a huge kitchen. Twelve square meters might not sound big but considering that the ceiling is about 3m high and I own a loft bed there is enough room for a comfy … ->couch<- which will be your place to stay! The flat itself includes two washrooms, a living room, combined with a kitchen and 4 other lovely flatmates, two girls and two other guys.
The flat is kind of remote but with the tram (leaving every 15min) you are able to get to downtown within 10 minutes without a problem!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like nearly any kind of music: rock, indie, a bit of hip hop, func, classic, jazz, ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best days I ever had was up in the Yukon, (Canada) I hiked up a hill at -20C and I will never forget the feeling when you stand at the top and the whole valley is opening in front of you, and there is nobody. Just wilderness. On top of that the northern lights came down in the night and a glowing green rain came down above Whitehorse.
