About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finish my PhD alive
ABOUT ME
I'm a 25 year old PhD student currently buried knee deep in biophysics
PHILOSOPHY
Considering I'm a scientist I really do not like to over think things or stress too much, I do waayyy too much of that at work anyway. I've always felt that fundamentally you should just be decent to other people and things should be ok.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh god. This is a land mine. Too much to name. I'm really into electronic music right now of all kinds but I will listen to most anything. Favorite films, that's tough but I love most things by Luc Besson, Hayao Miyazaki, Satoshi Kon, Terry Gilliam and Guillermo del Torro though that is being too narrow really, La Haine and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon are also stand out favorites. Also really trashy Sci Fi or horror. Books, just ask me when you meet me. I read a lot.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
2 weeks solo backpacking around Italy
Volunteering to help build a school in Gambia
Volunteering at an orphanage in Kobe
Living in Japan for 2 years and working at a large scale x-ray science facility.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well I know a bit of japanese (mostly Kansai ben) and also can teach you scouse slang. I'm good with accents too. Oh and if you want to know a bit more about general science topics I can probably help you out there.
