About Me
ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Marcus and I'm living life to the fullest. I recently left a very cush winemaking job in Woodinville WA to fulfill a dream of travelling around the world, following the grape harvest and to live and work in the great wine regions of the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Never settle
Be honest
Don't live your life for someone else
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As of 01/2014 I will be on the road. First stop is the Barossa Valley outside of Adelaide AUS to work for Two Hands Winery. After that is backpacking through Europe before heading to Germany to work with Dr. Loosen on the Mosel.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed my entire life, while travelling with my parents even as kids, we stayed with friends and family to save money for the fun things. In college, I spent a whole summer living out of a duffel bag and sleeping on a couch in Sun Valley ID so I could save money for school. I've learned to be courteous, chip in for things if I use them and clean up as I go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my best days was heli skiing for my best friends 30th bday. We had fresh snow and fresh tracks all day. Never been that tired after a day of riding and nothing more exhilarating than getting out of a heli on top of a snowy peak.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook, teach about wine. 100% chance if you host me, you will get a gourmet meal either me cooking it or going out!
I also wanted to be a High school teacher for many years so can tutor most subjects, sciences being my strongest suit.
