I'm Marcus, an exchange student from Brazil. Born and raised there, in the biggest country's city, Sao Paulo. Moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana in July 2014.

I'm an easygoing person, always smiling and trying to enjoy all the life's opportunities. I have been studying English since I was 14 and when I realized I was coming to the US it was kind of a dreaming becoming true.

Lead singer of a Brazilian rock band, music is a very important thing in my life. Also, I'm a little bit addicted to movies and tv series. Comedy, action and thriller and my favorite ones.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always heard people talking about couchsurfing even though it is not very well known in Brazil. As an exchange student, I see this opportunity in the US to visit as many places possible and meet people to see all the cultural differences.

I told myself when I came here that this opportunity was not only for studying, but also meet people and to to build relationships with them.
