About Me
Living in Neuenrade, a small but nice town in the Sauerland -- sounds like Sauerkraut but smells much better ;-)
I'm a friendly open-minded Person, a dad of 5 wonderful children -- almost any already grown up and two grandchildren.
Although Germany is one of the most beautiful and best place to live -- at least in case of freedom and conditions -- I'm interested in a more global way of life.
Buy local think global.
I'm a Christian by heart (Jesus inside logo ;-) but I have nothing in mind with religion. Accept being a Linux Guru.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My definition of visiting (countries, cities or landscapes) is not jumping from one high spot to the next but meeting people with different cultural imprint and attitudes.
Stay in an average hotel with a smiling janitor is nearly the same all over the world. To stay in an local appartment with local people, surrounded with their language, books, furnitures and environment is much more impressive than staying in an average hotel room.
