ABOUT ME

Let's start off with the essentials: I have curly hair and I own a green backpack. Those two are essentials because every person I've met says that they can recognize me from far away because of these two things.

I LOVE converse. I own four pairs, but, trust me, if I had more money I would own a lot more.

I'm Mexican, my first language was Spanish, and I learned English from cartoons.

I go jogging a lot, but I don't do it for the fitness, I do it to keep stress down. And if I can't go jogging because it's too cold, I'll swim instead. It's all the same. :)

I have an older sister, and a younger brother. At home, we have three dogs; needless to say, I love dogs.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a strong believer of: "Everything happens for a reason" and 'Whatever's meant to be will always find its way."

Every day that passes by I realize more and more that I really do live by these two phrases. I am a very relaxed person, and I've noticed that I don't worry half as much as other people do. I strongly believe that everything works out in the end, so there's never anything to worry about.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For right now, I want to surf around Europe while I'm here. When I go back to the USA hopefully I'll be able to host surfers and pass forward the kindness that was shown to me during my surfing experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

My three favorite movies have got to be: The Nightmare Before Christmas, A Lot Like Love, and Across the Universe.

Whereas music: I'm very open to any type of music. I like a lot of rock thanks to my dad - classic, alternative, punk, etc. - and I listen to a lot of Spanish music as well thanks to my sister - Shakira, Juanes, Reik, etc. I also listen to mainstream music on the radio. I love anything I can dance to.

Books: my favorite series of all time has got to be the Chronicles of Narnia.
