About Me

Warsaw-guy, entrepreneur, sociologist (almost!), cat- and adventure-lover. Sometimes serious, sometimes not, but always sassy (or, at least, sassish). Collector of stories with a strong inclination to find myself in the middle of offbeat situations.
Night owl, rather than early bird. Astrological Leo, if that matters anyhow. An ambivert, but always open-minded and keen to learn something new.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a real music lover. From the 50s rockabilly and rock'n'roll, to contemporary jazz, jazz hop, through all kinds of rock music, from Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, through Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones, to Dropkick Murphys, Guts or Florence + The Machine - everything's in my Spotify playlist unless it's bad ;)
Movies - well, here, honestly, I must admit, I'm a bit fusty, but I can definitely appreciate some good, old, 60s Hollywood movie, or contemporary award-winning doing. However, I'm kind of TV shows' fan, and my list include Homeland (which is my absolutely favorite pick), Doctor Who, Peaky Blinders, and many more.
Books? I read mostly scientific ones, but I'm an absolute fan of Bulgakov's The Master and Margarita (and Russian, in general), Hamsun's Hunger, and Hašek's Švejk. I love poetry, from the 19th century classics (Lord Byron, William Blake, and the Polish ones, especially Mickiewicz), to 1960s Beat Generation Ginsberg's 'Howl'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchiked 5000 kilometers in six days. Does that count? :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a Warsaw guy, born and raised up here. If you like to get off the beaten track, I can be your guide in Poland's capital. And I know a bit about this place's history, too. Want to discover the very heart of Warsaw, not just the tourist-only sites? Let me show you, then!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A few good stories (two of my hitchiking stories are really good, seriously :) ), talk on a whole variety of subjects. I can also repair a power plug, if necessary!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
