Hi there!

My name is Maren and I'm currently studying Wildlife Ecology. After I've done an internship on beautiful Christmas Island (Australia), I discovered my passion for work concerning species conservation and rainforest reforestration which I'd really like to jump into after my studies.

Beside that I love to travel, playing the guitar and just discovered yoga which I'd really like to continue. I'm currently trying to change my lifestyle a bit in a more healthier one but not to exaggerate. So while I was on Christmas Island and in New Zealand my interest in outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain climbing increased a lot and I would love to involve those things more in my daily-routine.

I find that travelling on your own and meeting local people is one of the best things you could do in life! :)

Since I travelled a lot and have met many couchsurfers that hosted me I also would like to give something back to people coming to Vienna, or wherever I'm gonna live after that!

Unfortunately I'm living in a drom now where I am not allowed to host people.
