Hi, I‘m Maren, 24 years old and from Germany - currently spending my semester abroad on Vancouver Island. I love exploring new places and meeting new people, whether it’s through hiking, playing volleyball or being out in nature. In winter you’ll usually find me skiing and on my upcoming trip to Hawaii I’m excited to improve my very beginner-level surfing skills. 😊

My entire semester abroad in Canada. 🤩🇨🇦🏔️ I’ve met so many nice people, gone on lots of trips here and completely fallen in love with Vancouver Island.

Back home I’m a scout leader, so I’m used to teaching, improvising and having fun with groups; whether we’re cooking over a fire or spending weekends in mountain huts. I love learning new things from others, whether it’s in sport, a recipe or just a new way of seeing the world. 🌎☀️
