ABOUT ME

I am a terminal college student who is addicted to NPR, tea of all origins, and reading about the French Revolution. I love all good music. Same goes for theatre, art, and literature. A taste of travel has triggered the more fanatical recesses of my nature, so no corner of the Earth is now safe from my examination. Consider yourself warned. Financial constraints are the only obstacle between me and total world domination.
My favorite pastime is lying in the grass with a book and my cat's implausibly curly tail wrapped around my neck.

If you need a less cryptic biography, I am a theatre nerd with a culinary arts degree and a job in banking. Oh, wait. That still makes no sense, does it? Well, I guess I'm an enigma with a book fetish and a growing collection of musical instruments. Also, my curly-tailed cat is no more...but I do miss him!

I've always wanted to travel the world and I feel like this opens up my horizons even more. I can't wait to meet new friends as I become a part of this world-wide community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted several times a few years back and it was fantastic! Life happened in the interim, but I'm looking forward to getting back in the game.

Anything...good? I've been on a 90s punk kick lately, music-wise. And of course I sing jazz and opera, so listen to plenty of that.

My favorite book of all time is probably Les Miserables (I wish I spoke French well enough to read the original), but I also read Good Omens annually. If you've never read it, let me know. I collect used copies and hand them out to people because it's the best thing ever.

I think The Godfather is perhaps the most perfect film ever made, but my FAVORITE film is The Princess Bride.

Dun Aengus (pictured above) in the Aran Islands off the west coast of Ireland is bar none the most beautiful place I have ever seen. I intend to haunt there when I die.
