I have surfed in many countries and participated in CS-organized events. I've offered couch wherever it was possible:)

兴趣

I like evolution and development of all kinds of things. I'm currently a graduate student at University of Colorado Boudler where I have the opportunity to study evolution and development of vertebrates. But other than that I read books of all sorts, hike and backpack wherever I can. I like spontaneity and profound discussions (and laugh at them at times). I have to admit, sometimes I like to make inappropriate fun of people, but always with good intentions!

My roots lie in Art Rock of the 70s (Yes, Rush, Genesis) but during my youth I have extended my interests from czech folkrock (Nerez, Vladimi­r Misik) to modern prog (Sieges Even, Porcupine Tree, Transatlantic).

I enjoy complex rhythms and melodies and I love to improvise on all kinds of instruments.

Books I have read which pop up from my memory at the moment: Murakami's Wind-up Bird Chronicle and Norwegian Wood, Vidal's Juliano El Apostata, Lermontov's Герой нашего времени¸ Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games... and definitely Jules et Jim by Henri Pierre Roche.

I could teach Spanish, English and Russian. I can share my worldviews, which are actually much more complex than those I've put in the Philosophy section :) I want to learn to play any musical instrument available. I would pay back by teaching guitar playing. I could surely share my passion for long discussions at the interface of scientific and primitive thinking :)
