ABOUT ME

My name is Maider and I am from the Basque Country; I grew up in a little town called Azpeitia where 90% of people speak euskera, so my 1rst language is Euskera. I´m learning how to play "txalaparta" (Basque traditional percussion)http://vimeo.com/40390425. Playing any kind of percussion and my country´s culture are very important for me. I lived in México (lindo y querido) in 2008, experience that changed my life amazingly. I like to travel, discover incredible places and people from everywhere. My english is very limited, so i´m very shy with people who I have to speak in english. I love creative activities, especially painting. Sometimes I like house life and enjoy cooking. I love astrology and everything related to the invisible world. I need to be close to the sea, wherever it is and being in touch with nature.

All my CS hosts have been super welcoming. I attempt to do the same with my CS guests. It´s the best that could´ve happened to me when I left my country and moved to Mexico.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Dejar mi país para emprender una nueva vida en México (2008)
-Pasé la navidad de 2007 en Tulum (México), fue increible festejar en la playa la noche buena, con gente de todas partes del mundo, con la luna llena roja, y despertar viendo el mar caribe con calorcito...
-Participé en una sesión de percusión improvisada en la playa, en el Festival de Jazz de San Sebastián.
