About Me

In my final year of anestheisa residency in San Diego. I’m traveling with my boyfriend.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a social person and I love meeting new people who provide me new perspectives on the world. I also just enjoy having company. One of my friends recommended that I check out CS as a way to meet people when I travel.

I spent some time driving for Uber and I found that I love meeting people from all walks of life. My hope is that CS will give me another way to meet wonderful people who will expand my life perspectives.

Interests

I love trying new things. Hobbies include violin, golf, biking. At least, those are the hobbies I tell people. How I actually spend my time at home includes spending embarrassing amounts of time on reddit, lifting, and living in the hospital.

Music, Movies, and Books

As a violinist, I love the romantic composers-- especially Tchaikovsky. I also enjoy the more "normal" young people stuff like top 40 pop, electronic music, and indie music.

I love scifi and fantasy books/movies. Most recently read book was educated by Tara Westover. I devour podcasts and audiobooks when I commute. My favorites are Planet money and Freakonomics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Craziest thing I've done is probably bungee jumping.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could probably teach you how to put tubes in tubes (that’s 60% of being an anesthesiologist)

I love listening to podcasts so I could talk to you about new ideas and stories that I've come across.

I used to be a tour guide as an undergraduate at Caltech so I definitely enjoy showing people around places and telling them interesting tidbits about it.
