ABOUT ME
I'm enthusiastic, people-oriented, fairly smart, somewhat scatterbrained, and I fluctuate between extroversion and introversion. I have more ideas than time (or inclination to see them through).
Interests
Novelty is important to me: I love seeing new places and meeting new people, and I always have new ideas for adventures to try. Occasionally my love of adventure reverses itself, and then the best thing in the world is the familiar: a cup of tea, a purring cat, and a thick volume of Lord of the Rings or something else I've read half-a-dozen times. In general when I have time, I knit, bake, plant gardens, play games, write stories, take the bus to visit friends, and rearrange my house.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on an internship to Mozambique a couple summers back. En route to a different part of the country, I ended up traveling by pick-up truck with some of my fellow interns. I'm not talking in the cab--we shared the back of the truck with twenty people, their luggage, a few chickens, and at one point a goat. The wind and the dust whipped by. People waved, and kids ran up to try to sell us bananas, and the red-brown hills made the sky look bluer than I'd ever seen. It was pure beautiful uncomfortable glorious adventure.
